Known for its heart-shaped meadow and the mist-covered peaks, it offers trekker a chance to walk above the clouds. The trail passes through dense shola forests, crystal-clear streams, and rolling green hills.

Day 0 Depart from Bangalore

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

  • 10:00 PM: Start from Banashankari
  • 10:15 PM: Quick pickup BTM Layout
  • 10:30 PM: Next stop, Silk Board
  • 10:45 PM: Board at Bellandur
  • 11:00 PM: Assemble at Marathalli
  • 11:30 PM: Pickup at Tin Factory
  • 11:50 PM: Picking up at Indira Nagar
  • 12:00 AM: Meet us at Halasuru
  • 12:10 AM: Join at Mg Road
  • 12:30 AM: Board at Mekhri Circle
  • 12:40 AM: Quick pickup at Yeshwanthpur
  • 12:50 AM: Last pickup at Gorguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 Tea Estate for the Eyes, Temple for the Soul, and Back to Stay
  • 06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check-in the homestay
  • 07:00 AM - 08:00 AM: Freshen-up and have breakfast
  • 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate
  • 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple, have Darshan and Lunch (Either temple prasadam or lunch in near-by hotel (self-sponsored))
  • Note: Temple dress code applies.
  • 02:30 PM - 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls (Jeep ride *self-sponsored)
  • 05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge Kalasa
  • 07:00 PM: Reach Homestay, have dinner and rest
Day 2 Netravathi Trek
  • 05:30 AM: Wake-up call
  • 06:00 AM - 07:30 AM: Freshen up, have breakfast and carry packed lunch
  • Note 1: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 505.
  • Note 2: Kindly book at least 1 month in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available - early confirmation is highly recommended!
  • 07:30 AM - 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Netravathi Trek (Jeep ride)
  • 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM: Have packed lunch
  • 02:30 PM: Start descent
  • 06:00 PM - 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and sip tea with snacks
  • 08:00 PM: Depart to Bangalore
  • Drop-off Points are same as pick-up points.
Day 3 Homeward Bound
  • 05:00 AM: Reach Bengaluru

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Home Sweet Home: Once you've reached your drop-off point, it's time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure with HIKERS HORIZON!

  • • Leeches are common during monsoons; carry salt or Odomos
  • • Weather changes rapidly; always carry a light jacket/raincoat
  • • Zero-plastic zone; please do not carry disposable plastics
